How It All Started

Benefit Pet, which started as Benefit Biscuits, was founded in 2016 by Chris, Marissa, and Nick, as college students attending the University of Portland. What originally started as a school project, quickly grew into something more—we soon realized the potential of our products and began selling our treats at farmers markets across Oregon. We soon expanded outside the capacity of our home kitchen and partnered with a local baker to help craft the treats.
