Dog Treats
How to choose a dog treat flavor your dog will actually finish
Start with motivation. If your dog will do anything for food, Peanut Butter and Pumpkin are the safest first buys — they're the two flavors dogs most reliably finish.
If you're treating for training, pick a flavor you can break into small pieces and hand out often. Blueberry and Peanut Butter work well here because dogs stay interested across many repetitions.
If breath is the reason you're shopping, Mint is the flavor to start with. If your dog gets bored easily, Cranberry gives them something different from the usual treat aisle.
All five flavors come in 7 oz and 1 lb bags, so you can start small and size up on the one your dog finishes fastest.
